Anna Anderson is a Registered Social Worker with the BC College of Social Worker and holds a Bachelor and Master of Social Work. With over 20 years of experience, she supports adolescents (12-17), adults (18+) through mental health assessment, diagnostic clarification, treatment planning, and individual counselling.
Anna brings a warm, collaborative approach to her work, incorporating humor into her practice. She also enjoys providing psychoeducation to both individuals and groups. She is trained in EMDR Therapy (Level 1) and Emotion- Focused Therapy, integrating evidence-based practices within a trauma-informed framework.
Her clinical interests include trauma, postpartum mental health, ADHD, supporting the LGBTQ2S+ community, and anxiety and depression. Anna is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental space where clients can feel understood, explore their experiences, and discover new possibilities for growth and healing.
Outside of counselling, Anna enjoys yoga, spending time in nature, singing, being with animals, and sharing adventures with her son.
