Alex Bird
Occupational Therapist
Alex is a Registered Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia. He holds a Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of British Columbia, a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science from Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops B.C., and a Therapist Assistant Diploma from Okanagan College. Since 2012, Alex has extensively worked with clients in the RCMP, Veterans, and health care community, which showcased his commitment to serving first responder populations.
Alex is passionate about aiding individuals in their recovery from trauma disorders and mental health challenges. Alex also specializes in providing comprehensive support during hospital discharges, with a keen focus on function while addressing equipment needs, optimizing ergonomics, and facilitating rehabilitation for physical injuries and concussions.
His current caseload includes clients facing trauma disorders, anxiety, depression, concussion, and other various mental and physical health challenges with a high rate of return-to-work outcomes. His CBT and coaching approach aligns with our company values, emphasizing a client-centered and collaborative approach with stakeholders.
