Sam holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis and is a registered autism service provider with MCFD. Recently, she earned a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and is a registered clinical counsellor with BCACC. In addition, Sam has been a fitness coach for over a decade, further enriching her holistic approach to client care. Sam’s approach is person-centred and eclectic by nature, combining various methods into her practice to best suit her client’s needs. 

Sam is a dedicated professional with over 10 years of experience working with children, particularly those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. She specializes in implementing behavior change strategies that foster connection and promote well-being for both children and their families. Her expertise includes teaching essential skills for daily functioning, socio-emotional learning, self-regulation, and effective communication. Sam enjoys working with individuals and families of all ages and backgrounds. 

Her warm, calm, and welcoming demeanour creates a safe and supportive environment for her clients. Sam is committed to a client-centered approach, empowering individuals to take an active role in their healing journey. She values collaboration in developing tailored treatment plans that address each client’s unique needs and perspectives, approaching every situation with curiosity, humility, and respect.
