Vishavjit is a multilingual Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. She is fluent in the following languages: English, Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu, Haryavni, and Awdhi.
She works with children from age 4 and up and practices Play Therapy. She also has a professional interest in Trauma and working with Couples.
Vishavjit completed her Bachelors Degree in Psychology with Honours and dual Master’s in Psychotherapy and Professional Counselling and subsequently received a Masters in Healthcare Management.
She has experience providing ambulatory and inpatient care to patients with psychiatric disorders and has worked extensively in addiction and rehabilitation centres providing care to patients with substance-use disorders. She is a provider of trauma therapy for first responders and Government frontline workers.
